The Bank of Spain will suffer a large-scale robbery in ‘Way Down’, the new film by Jaume Balagueró (‘REC’, ‘Muses’), which has just released a new ‘teaser’ trailer and poster. And in those first images we can already see what awaits us: a lot of action and adrenaline in one of the most ambitious and complex blockbusters of Spanish cinema, which has a national and international cast made up of Freddie Highmore, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, José Coronado , Liam Cunningham, Sam Riley, Luis Tosar, Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, Axel Stein, Daniel Holguín and Famke Janssen.
The film has a script composed by Andrés Koppel, Borja González Santaolalla, Rafael Martínez, Michel Gaztambide and Rowan Athale, and is produced by Telecinco In the Heights Cinema together with Think Studio, Ciudadano Ciskul and El tesoro de Drake AIE, with the participation of Mediaset España , Movistar + and Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group. In Spain, the film will be distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment Iberia.
Filmed in English and Spanish, ‘Way Down’ takes place in such emblematic locations in Madrid as the Plaza de Cibeles, the Palacio de Cibeles (seat of the City Council), the Zurich and Metropolis buildings, as well as in Madrid province and areas of the Spanish coast . So it will not be difficult to recognize the capital in its images, although it gives us that our attention will be very busy with its intense plot.
